I have just installed openSUSE 12.03 in a virtual machine box under Microsoft Hyper-V on Windows 8 Pro. I attempted to change the resolution from 800x600 to something more acceptable, but under Display and Monitor configuration, there are no other options than 800x600. Microsoft's website says that openSUSE 12.1 is a supported operating system with their Integration Services built in.
